What I am especially grateful for the past month:
Thank you so much for all the wonderful cards, presents and birthday wishes for Rigby and I! It was a fabulous week!
Birthday celebrations at Red Robin, Cheesecake Factory and Olive Garden! Spy Kids 4 (Rigby's movie choice for her bday) was better than I expected (not great, but better than I expected). B took the kids to see the Smurfs and I didn't have to sit through it (B and Em thought it was awful).
Grandparents came to Z's first regular season game, the team won and we had a great dinner at Applebee's afterwards!
Rigby has Mrs. B and is going to have a great year!
Em likes her teachers, likes her classmates and is going to have a great year!
Z got a chance to walk through the high school with his schedule three times so he felt pretty comfortable on the first day of school. Feels pretty good about his classes and seems to like his classmates. Being on the soccer team will be good for him and I think it will help him adjust to high school more quickly.
Em had fun at her team camp, likes her routine and has no regrets about leaving gymnastics!
Working - ♥ the staff at all three gyms (who gave me a gift card to get a manicure - how awesome is that?)
Z really likes the high school cafeteria (B and I are over the whole packing lunch thing - especially when certain people *coughEmcough* forget their lunch at home two days in a row).
Subway subs and guacamole - I have become obsessed with both this summer.
Several days of cooler weather and air conditiioning for the other days!
B cleaned up the Canon camera and the photos aren't blurry!
New Nikon camera - pictures aren't quite as spectacular as I was hoping but maybe as I add lenses images will improve.
If Em's team makes it to Nationals we will be at WDW in March! They will probably compete at the Milk House in the Wide World of Sports, but there is a small chance they could compete in the Indiana Jones theater or ON A STAGE IN FRONT OF THE CASTLE!! iDie.
Rigby has turned into an amazing reader and has devoured the Junie B Jones series this month!
Z is finally into cargo shorts - so tired of the sloppy knit shorts he has worn since kindy!
Autumn and apple picking and pumpkin picking and orange leaves is right around the corner!!
