Yesterday was Rigby's parent-teacher conference. She is having a great year with a great teacher! Has never moeved her fish (behaves well), is a good model for other students, is in the top math group and her DRA reading level is tested at 16 (benchmark is 18 by end of 1st grade). The only thing the Mrs B mentioned was her non-fiction reading comprehension: scored 22 out of 28
We also had Z's team conference with 4 of his teachers and let me just tell you I am over the moon happy with how well that went. Heard so many nice, positive things about Z as a student and as a person! Really liked his teachers and felt like they really care about their students (did not get that feeling in middle school - although with Em I do. Weird.). Anyway, he is very smart, mathematically gifted, utilizing study hall effectively, great kid, great addition to the STEM program and on and on. I am still on cloud 9! ♥
