E2's first meet was a rousing success!  Okay, bars was a disaster but that was her very first event at her very first meet (we missed a meet while we were in Florida).   B & I were expecting a bunch of 5's and 6's and she way exceeded our expectations.  She came in 4th AA (out of five) and got a 1st on vault!  Unfortunately this meet doesn't do ribbons or metals but regardless it was a great morning.  And now E2 knows that meets aren't scary!

I kept re-reading this post over and over, trying to figure out what was wrong with it.   Lying in bed last night, it suddenly popped into my head: "meDals, not meTals!".      What a maroon. 

Gymnastics

E2 had a fun week at camp and was excited to go each day, but.....it honestly seemed a lot more like going to three hour practice daily than a camp.  I was expecting craft time and snack time and things like that.  Like I said, E2 had fun but did mention that  there wasn't much camp stuff to it.
