Yes, E1, Z & I went to see the Hannah Montana 3d movie at 8:00 this morning.
I made no effort to take E1 to the Hannah Montana concert when it was in town (I still think she mostly wanted to go because one of her classmates was gloating about going) but decided on a whim Friday to get tickets for the movie. My choices were 11:45 pm Saturday night or 8:00 am Sunday morning. Except for the 9:30pm shows M-Th, everything else was sold out.
Z*, to his eternal regret, invited himself along. E1 (reading my mind) said afterwards "That was the longest hour and 15 minutes of my life!" (she did enjoy it though and was mesmerized throughout the entire movie). I really did think, repeatedly, "this is the LONGEST hour and 15 minutes of my life" over. and over. and over. It was well done, I loved Hannah's/Miley's sparkly clothes, and the 3d aspect was cool but my mind wandered a lot and I truly wondered if it would ever end.
The 3d trailers for Journey to the Center of the Earth and Coraline were cool and I'm looking forward to seeing those movies.
(*I asked Z, "so, you gonna tell anyone at school you went to see the HM movie?". His response? "NO.")
